Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CaissaLab at www.caissalab.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

CaissaLab analyses your Chess.com and Lichess games using the Stockfish chess engine and AI coaching to identify recurring weaknesses. The service includes game analysis, weakness verdicts, personalized drills, and rating tracking.

2. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• One account per person. Do not share account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

3. Credits and Payments

• New accounts receive 20 free analysis credits.
• Additional credits can be purchased in packs (₹399 / ₹1,199 / ₹3,999).
• Each credit allows analysis of one chess game.
• Credits do not expire and are non-transferable.
• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay.

4. Refund Policy

Unused credits are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. To request a refund, email shivumat@gmail.com with your account email and the order ID. Refunds are processed within 7 business days.

Credits that have already been used for analysis are non-refundable. If an analysis fails due to a system error, credits are automatically refunded to your balance.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to violate Chess.com or Lichess terms of service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the analysis pipeline or AI coaching system
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the service beyond normal use
• Submit fraudulent payment information
• Use the analysis results to gain unfair advantage in live games (e.g., real-time engine assistance)

6. Analysis Accuracy

CaissaLab uses Stockfish 18 for engine evaluation and AI language models for coaching explanations. While we strive for accuracy:

• Engine evaluations are computed at a configurable depth and may differ from deeper analysis
• AI coaching explanations are generated summaries, not authoritative chess instruction
• The service is a training aid, not a substitute for professional coaching

7. Intellectual Property

Your chess games remain yours. Analysis results generated by CaissaLab (verdicts, coaching summaries, charts) are licensed to you for personal use. The CaissaLab software, branding, and interface are our intellectual property.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Analysis times depend on server load and may vary. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

9. Account Termination and Data Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. When you request deletion:

• You are signed out immediately and your account is marked for deletion.
• After a 30-day grace period, all of your personal data — profile, analyses, drills, and credit balance — is permanently removed from our systems.
• To reverse a deletion within the 30-day window, email support@caissalab.com.
• Shared public game data (PGNs sourced from Chess.com and Lichess) is not removed — it was never personal to you and may be referenced by other users' analyses.
• A minimal deletion record (email, timestamps) is retained for legal compliance purposes.

You may also download a copy of all your personal data as JSON from the Settings page at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

CaissaLab is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
